New York Lincoln Giants

The New York Lincoln Giants quickly became one of the Negro Leagues’ earliest powerhouse organizations after their founding in 1911. Featuring Hall of Famers such as Louis Santop, John Henry “Pop” Lloyd, and Spot Poles, the club established a reputation for disciplined baseball and championship-caliber talent. Long before integration, the Lincoln Giants proved that Black baseball represented the very highest level of the sport.
