Detroit Wolves

Though their existence was brief, the Detroit Wolves represented an important chapter in the growth of professional Black baseball during the 1920s. Every franchise, regardless of its time on the field, contributed to expanding opportunities for Black athletes and preserving the game’s rich competitive spirit. The Wolves remain a reminder that every story deserves to be remembered.
